Project Protein Revitalized and Ready to Feed More Families in Southern Alberta

Project Protein is being revitalized by Interfaith Food Bank Society of Lethbridge to expand its impact across Southern Alberta. As food insecurity rises, the program is rebuilding awareness to ensure families have reliable access to high-quality ground meat. Project Protein partners with farmers, ranchers, and livestock producers who donate beef or pork animals for processing. Donors simply call their preferred abattoir to schedule drop-off, and Project Protein can cover all processing fees and provide a charitable tax receipt for the fair market value of the livestock.
