Turning Concrete Into Public Art | Rogers tv
Mural Fest is returning to Lloydminster this July, bringing artists, volunteers and local businesses together to create public art that will be displayed throughout the community. The event will once again take place at the Lloyd Exh grounds, where artists will transform concrete traffic barriers into unique pieces of public art before they are installed at sponsoring businesses and community locations across the city. Organizer Brandi Hofer says the event helps empower local artists while creating colourful works that remain in Lloydminster long after Mural Fest ends.
