The City of Nanaimo announces “Waves”, a Wind Phone created by local artist Mauro Dalla Costa and now permanently installed at Bowen Road Cemetery.

This thoughtful public artwork offers a quiet, symbolic space for anyone experiencing grief or loss. Visitors are invited to pause, reflect, and connect with loved ones in their own personal way — surrounded by nature and the gentle presence of the piece.
