Sault Ste. Marie Launches Hands-On AI Workshop for Local Businesses
Small and medium-sized business owners across the Algoma region are being invited to take their use of artificial intelligence to the next level.
In this free, in-person workshop hosted by the City of Sault Ste. Marie, participants will learn how to move beyond basic chatbot use and start leveraging AI as a strategic business advisor. The session focuses on real-world applications, helping entrepreneurs think through major decisions, strengthen their strategy, and tackle financial and operational challenges with confidence.
Attendees will build their own custom AI advisor using tools like ChatGPT and Claude, and create a virtual advisory team capable of challenging ideas, stress-testing plans, and supporting day-to-day business operations.
The workshop is fully hands-on, giving participants the opportunity to apply AI directly to their own business scenarios and walk away with practical frameworks and templates they can use immediately.
Organizers say the goal is to help local businesses adopt AI in a way that is not just efficient—but transformative.
